About The Real Mathare F.C
Real Mathare is a grassroots football club based in Mathare slum right in the heart of Nairobi city. Real Mathare plays in the 4th tier of the Kenya Football League in Kenya. We focus on the rehabilitation and talent building of young persons growing up in Mathare slums and the neighborhoods through giving them a sporting platform and also connecting them with the different life skills opportunities.
MASCA and Real Mathare F.C.
One thing that MASCA does is connect groups in Mathare who are looking for donations with existing charities that provide these donations/services.
When we heard that the Real Mathare F.C. football team was in need of shin pads, goalie gloves and first aide kits, we found two charities in Canada who were able to donate the gear, and who also gave us children’s football shoes above what we asked for.

As a Partner, the Real Mathare F.C. football team welcomes volunteers who are interested in sports and working with youth. If you are a soccer coach, a medical doctor or physiotherapist, or interested in marketing for a sport team contact MaSCA to discuss a volunteer placement.
