About Pamoja Initiative
Pamoja is KiSwahili for “together”
Pamoja Initiative raises awareness regarding adolescent and reproductive and sexual health among youth and school-going children in Mathare. The group is led by youth who have been trained as reproductive and sexual health educators. In total the group has 16 weekly volunteers.
An equitable and democratic society where urban citizens have adequate space.
Pamoja Trust exists to facilitate and advocate for processes and approaches aimed at strengthening people’s organization formations for ensure better livelihoods for the urban poor.
Pamoja Initiative welcomes volunteers who are interested in working with children and youth. If you are a social worker, a medical doctor or educator, or interested in leading a workshop contact MaSCA to discuss a volunteer placement.
